Birthday week

We're in the middle of birthday week in my apartment. James' birthday was last Wednesday, Calen's is today, and Chip's is tomorrow! Crazy. Needless to say, we have a lot of sweets in our apartment right now...

To celebrate Calen's birthday, this morning three of us woke up at 6:30 and drove to the International House of Pancakes in Point Loma to celebrate Free Pancake Day!


I also learned this morning that apparently, IHOP adopted KFC's strategy and is now only known by its acronym. I wonder if the next generation will be confused not knowing this, and mistake the restaurant for a potato sack race company? (Sorry about that one.)

Here are Calen and Kasey making creamer towers while waiting on our pancakes (apparently other human beings do this too). You might conclude that they're acting this way because it's 7:00 a.m., but I assure you, they are this immature all the time.
